Growing Up A Dancer

Mikaela began her dance education taking class in a variety of styles including ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, modern, pointe, and hip hop. She competed in all styles of dance winning countless judge's awards and scholarships. As a teenager, Mikaela assisted ballet and tap classes and hasn't stopped teaching since. In high school Mikaela joined her high school's Varsity Dance Team where they placed in the top ranks at UDA Nationals. While in college, Mikaela performed, choreographed, and led a student-run dance organization, and taught competitive and recreational classes at a local dance studio. After graduating, Mikaela continued teaching and sharing her passion for dance with children of all ages. Mikaela has danced in flash mobs, choreographed first dances for weddings, danced in marriage proposals, and frequently performs at the Nashville City Winery and other local venues. Mikaela loves teaching dance classes to both children and adults, and enjoys choreographing and performing in music videos and shows of all sorts.
